Blurobi and XYZ Tech have signed a strategic partnership to deliver smart-city projects jointly. Under the agreement, Blurobi contributes AI perception hardware and edge inference, while XYZ Tech contributes the urban service platform, integration work and local delivery organisation.
The combination targets a familiar gap in city projects: perception suppliers deliver devices, platform suppliers deliver software, and the city is left to make the two work together. In this partnership both sides are contracted for the outcome — a working service with defined interfaces, agreed data flows and a single point of responsibility for support.
The first joint projects will cover roadside parking and intersection monitoring, with the option to extend to campus, park and charging-infrastructure scenarios. The two companies said pilots will start in selected cities this year, with results published to inform wider rollout.
For cities, the practical benefit is a shorter path from decision to operation: a pre-integrated stack, known interfaces to existing systems, and two vendors already working from the same design.
